Overview

A postdoctoral position is available immediately at the Scripps Research Institute on Jupiter, Florida campus to participate in developing treatments for devastating neurodevelopmental disorder GNAO1. The position is supported by the fellowship from the Child’s Cure Genetic Research. The project offers a unique opportunity to leverage the state of the art translational capabilities of the Institute to develop innovative pharmaco-genetic strategies for disease correction while participating in basic research on neuronal signaling mechanisms. The laboratory takes multidisciplinary approach combining genetic mouse models, proteomics, electrophysiology, imaging, and innovative optical sensor technologies to study neuronal signaling and develop corrective strategies for neuropsychiatric disorders.
