GENERAL SUMMARY
As a Hardware Board Design Engineer, you will work with members of the platform/system team and other cross-functional teams to deliver high quality Board Design and timely, successful release to production.Roles and ResponsibilitiesWork/interact within a project team (hardware, software, asic, etc) and develop board and system documentationWork with component vendors and the project team to accomplish component selectionSchematic capture using ORCAD and board layout using Allegro toolsDesign board/system per requirements, work with the team during design, testingDevelop/document board/system hardware test plan working with team membersContribute to board/system bring-up and system integration effortsDevelop test scripts as required in the project to help with testing.Work with manufacturing through to successful production/customer-shipmentsPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or in a related field ; BS with 12+ years or MS with 10+ years experienceGood knowledge related to processor – memory architectures/designsExperience with PLD/FPGA bring-up, testing/debugging (including board-related bring-up with software, familiarity with signal-integrity aspects, etc).Working knowledge/experience with scripting (Python, PERL, TCL, etc)Expertise with high-speed board/system design, logic design, schematic capture, board layout, and testingStrong knowledge related to signal integrity, power design, thermal management, compliance requirements/testingStrong experience with design of high-speed, dense, multi-layer PCBs, expertise with schematic capture & layout toolsExcellent technical knowledge & design/working experience with PCIe, DDR3/DDR4 DRAM, ethernet, serdes, I2C/SPI/MDIOGood Experience in using lab/debug tools (e.g. logic analyzer, PCIe &/or I2C Analyzer, High-speed oscilloscopes, Traffic Generators, etc)Physical RequirementsFrequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.

• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.

Roles and Responsibilities
+ Work/interact within a project team (hardware, software, asic, etc) and develop board and system documentation
+ Work with component vendors and the project team to accomplish component selection
+ Schematic capture using ORCAD and board layout using Allegro tools
+ Design board/system per requirements, work with the team during design, testing
+ Develop/document board/system hardware test plan working with team members
+ Contribute to board/system bring-up and system integration efforts
+ Develop test scripts as required in the project to help with testing.

Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or in a related field ; BS with 12+ years or MS with 10+ years experience
+ Good knowledge related to processor – memory architectures/designs

Work Experiences:
1+ years in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports. ,2+ years supervisory experience. ,2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above) ,3+ years experience with Testing Software such as Bugzilla, LoadRunner, etc. ,3+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization. ,3+ years experience with Database Management Software. ,3+ years experience with Development Environment Software such as Apache Maven, Ruby, etc. ,12+ years Systems Engineering or related work experience.
