Job Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this role include the following:

Mission Knowledge

+ Understanding the mission context, needs, use cases, burdens and worries of USG stakeholders.

Commercial Knowledge

+ Understanding the “Why” from Commercial – the business drivers that are influencing the commercial ecosystem.

+ Staying up to date on Qualcomm’s tech strategy and business models.

+ Tracking Qualcomm’s big bets.

Education & Analysis

+ Analyzing areas of convergence between commercial tech strategy and USG missions.

+ Conduct business analysis of missions, commercial drivers, technologies, data, and deployment models.

+ Providing mission-contextual analyses to internal and external stakeholders.

USG & Internal Relationships

+ Enhancing and cultivating key USG relationships.

+ Collaborating across Qualcomm (internal cross-functional stakeholders).

+ Building strong internal relationships across Qualcomm.

* US Citizenship required. Must be eligible to apply for a TS level Security Clearance. *

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.

+ 8+ year’s work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ MBA

+ 2+ years USG Business Development or related USG work experience.

+ Familiarity with the USG Ecosystem.

+ 3+ years working in a large matrixed organization.

+ Ability to dive deep into Technology areas.

+ Analytical skills & critical thinking skills.

+ TS level Security Clearance.

Additional Work Requirements:

+ Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile, works remotely as per business need, and willing to travel as per business need, without impacting productivity

+ Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.

+ Provides continuous communication which includes information-sharing with colleagues, customers, and partners both in person and remotely.
