As a Digital Layout Engineer, you will be a member of a custom layout team working with Circuit design, CAD and Technology teams to create custom macros, libraries and general purpose circuits.

Roles and Responsibilities

+ Work with the circuit design team to come up with layout plan and execute.

+ Design layout for mixed signal and digital circuits.

+ Use industry standard verification tools to validate LVS, DRC, ERC etc.

+ Interpret the results from the verification suite and perform layout fixes as needed.

Minimum qualifications

+ BA/BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of practical experience

+ Experience in Layout design of library cells, datapaths, memories in deep sub-micron technologies.

+ Knowledge of all aspects of Layout floorplanning and hierarchical assembly.

+ Knowledge of Cadence or Mentor Graphics layout tools.

Preferred qualifications

+ MS degree in Electrical Engineering; 10 years of practical experience

+ Experience with FinFet technologies is preferred.

+ Good understanding of device parasitics and reliability considerations during layout.

+ Good understanding of critical circuits and layout styles.

+ Good communication skills to work with different teams to accurately describe issues and follow them through for completion.
