Starting Wage

$29.52/hour

 

Location

On-site at headquarters in Vista, CA.

 

Responsibilities
Your duties will include to:

  • Updates and maintains all Job Descriptions within the organization. Provides guidance to management on Job Description development as needed.
  • Receives Requisition forms for new job openings, inputs them into Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and sends to Officers for approval.
  • Inputs disposition questions and uploads one-way video interview questions into ATS.
  • Posts and removes job openings on Internal and External careers sites, as well as third party job boards as needed. Uses internal messaging system to announce job openings to current employees.
  • Maintains Talent Acquisition-related links on internal sites like ADP.
  • Develops and maintains SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the Recruitment Cycle.
  • Assists with temporary staff recruitment, including being the main point of contact with the staffing agency, hiring managers, and prospective temps.
  • Initiates new-hire background checks using a 3rd party company and tracks them through completion.
  • Reconciles billing for background checks.
  • Sends all onboarding and new-hire documents to new employees prior to their first day.
  • Saves all completed forms in the appropriate folder.
  • Acts as liaison and main point of contact for new employees from the moment they sign their job offer to their first day of employment.
  • Assists in training hiring managers to use the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Acts as backup in the absence of the Talent Acquisition manager, including, but not limited to, reviewing resumes, scheduling candidates, and participating in interviews.

Qualifications

  • We understand that not all candidates will meet every qualification and encourage all interested candidates to apply.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting and hiring.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.)
  • Experienced with HR Software programs, including HRIS, ATS, and job boards.

Any combination of education and work experience that would be equivalent to the stated minimum requirements would qualify for consideration for this position.
