GENERAL SUMMARY
As Ecosystem Enablement Engineer, you are responsible for driving our software engagements with customers and partners. You will be a key player in defining software solutions for customer programs, expanding our ecosystem partnership program, and building an open-source developer program all while partnering with our world class hardware and software engineering teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that our combined solutions are of the highest quality with the best possible performance. You will have an opportunity to engage broadly with our customers and third parties on enablement of new platforms, software porting and optimizations for our microarchitecture.
Role and Responsibilities
+ Accelerate and drive ecosystem partnership program with major industry partners
+ Actively engage with ISV and IHV partners to ensure coordinated deliverables, correct function, optimal interoperability and expected performance with partner products
+ Establish engagements within the Open-Source community and drive an “upstream first” Open-Source developer program that further enhances our reputation for community leadership and influence
+ Coordinate joint collateral with partners through software demonstrations, technical white papers and presentations for industry events, webinars and customer.
+ Assist in the definition of future server class SoCs and platforms requirements leveraging feedback and input from key partners.
Preferred qualifications
+ BS / MS in an engineering discipline related to HW or SW fields
+ Strong grasp of Computer Architecture concepts, including high performance server class architectures, weak memory models, large scale devops, and server platforms
+ 3 years of experience working in open-source software engineering development for server and infrastructure computing segments
+ Experience in open-source development and program management environments and tools including Git, Jira, Confluence or similar
+ Experience in collaborating with customers or partners to enable platforms for server and infrastructure solutions and deployment
+ 2 years+ of experience in defining, porting and optimizing software stacks for server class platforms with development languages including C++, LLVM, Java and Python
+ Experience in working “upstream first” with the Linux kernel and toolchain communities
+ Knowledge of server platforms specifications such as UEFI, ACPI, etc.
+ Knowledge of and experience with Arm architecture and Arm based SOC implementation
+ Self-starter who takes initiative and consistently demonstrates technical leadership to both internal teams and external partners and communities.
Physical Requirements
+ Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
+ Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
+ Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
+ Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
+ Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors – Computer Science, Bachelors – Engineering, Bachelors – Information Systems
Work Experiences:
4+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. ,8+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.
