GENERAL SUMMARY

Qualcomm’s Visual Technology Team is seeking a systems architect to drive next-generation hardware and software architectures to address camera, computational photography, and machine learning requirements in mobile and AR/VR segments.The successful candidate will be responsible for:• Working with product teams to understand use case requirements and develop roadmap for visual processing technologies• Working with technology, hardware and software experts to translate use case requirements into architectural specifications• Identifying and driving system-level features and optimizations to ensure product requirements are met• System level use case analysis to validate and optimize architecture definitionFor this multi-disciplinary role an ideal candidate has proven expertise in SoC architecture, HW/SW partitioning, computational photography, camera sensor technology, and system analysis (power, performance, thermal). Expertise in computer vision, machine learning, perception, and AR / VR system are significant assets for this position.Preferred QualificationsEducation:• Masters or Doctorate in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering Work Experiences:• 8+ years of systems, SoC, or IP architecture experience with multimedia technology focus (i.e. camera, computer vision, machine learning, augmented/virtual reality) Skills:• Deep domain expertise in camera technologies, computer vision, and machine learning • System modeling / analysis • Proven experience throughout all phases of technology development • Outstanding problem-solving skills • Outstanding communication skills

Bachelors – Computer Science, Bachelors – Engineering, Bachelors – Information Systems

Work Experiences:

5+ years of Systems engineering or related work experience.

Work Experiences:

7+ years of Systems engineering or related work experience. ,2+ years experience working in one or more multimedia technology areas (i.e., speech, audio, imaging, computer vision, display, sensing, biometrics, augmented/virtual reality).
