The QCT Record to Report team is looking for a Senior level accountant to partner with multiple stakeholders across accounting, finance, operations, technical accounting and tax teams, across multiple time zones to support complete, accurate and timely internal and external reporting of Qualcomm’s largest reportable segment, QCT.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to partner with global accounting and business customers and stakeholders, have strong analytical skills, possess strong verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to perform complex analyses and multi-task within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities Include:

+ Accounting support for Qualcomm’s M&A activities, including due diligence, planning and integration, including recording of opening balance sheet in accordance with US GAAP and Qualcomm policies

+ Provide global accounting support and guidance to ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with Qualcomm policies and contribute to quality financial reporting

+ Coordinate with QCT accounting, finance and FP&A to present financial results to QCT and Corp VP-level management via the monthly Day 3 meetings and quarterly Key Issues and Certification meetings

+ Ensure integrity of internal controls over financial reporting via preparation and review of SOX controls

+ Provide Oracle general ledger support for QCT, providing customer support and working closely with the Corp general ledger team to support monthly close and consolidations

+ Support strategic initiatives and projects to improve quality and efficiency within accounting and reporting processes, including support of India transfer pricing, enhanced automation and reporting of RF360 intercompany transactions, and increased use of Tableau for month and quarter-end internal reporting

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office, Oracle, HFM and TM1

+ 5+ years’ experience in Accounting

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage various projects under strict deadlines

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ CPA or audit experience is preferred
