Responsibilities

+ Drive bulk Si and RFSOI technology evaluation, development and design enablement for RFFE designs, including RF switching and antenna circuits, receivers, transmitters.

+ Work with Qualcomm design and product teams to define process and device requirements.

+ Support Qualcomm design, layout, PTE and reliability teams to address their questions and resolve any device and design optimization issues.

+ Design, simulate and test RF circuits to understand the process-design-layout interaction and guide process-design-layout optimization to achieve optimum performance.

+ Assure product quality by devising testing methodology, and testing product and system capabilities.

+ Work independently on assigned tasks, including responsibility for technical execution and schedule

+ Ability and passion to learn new technologies and contribute to a diverse set of projects.

+ Education Requirements

Required: Masters, Electrical Engineering or related field

Preferred: Doctorate, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Basic Qualifications

+ Minimum of 6 years of experience developing optimized device designs in advanced CMOS processes.

+ Excellent understanding of the CMOS, CMOS/SOI, RFCMOS, process integration, reliability, design rules and best layout practices.

+ Excellent understanding of design and device tools such as TCAD, ADS, EM simulations, RF systems simulations.

+ Very good understanding of basic digital and analog/RF circuit design and operation, and digital and analog/RF circuit design flows.

+ Good knowledge of FEOL and BEOL unit processes including Lithography, Etch, PVD/CVD deposition, implant, CMP, etc.

+ Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
