General Summary

The Snapdragon LLVM ARM team is looking for QA/Validation engineers to join their fast-paced development team. The engineer will take ownership of development and test infrastructure for the LLVM team, and support ARM toolchain developers to enable them to validate their changes to the toolchain. In addition, the engineer will be part of the team setting up necessary automation for build, testing/validation and release of the Snapdragon LLVM ARM toolchain.

Preferred Qualifications

4+ years of experience in the following areas:

• Proficiency in scripting languages: One shell scripting (bash/sh) language + Python or Perl

• Unix/Linux system· Unix utilities and tools such as cmake, make, sed, awk, gcc (usage experience, not internal knowledge)

• Experience setting up Android devices (bringup, connectivity and automation setup)

• Experience with Windows development and automation tools such as Visual Studio, MinGW environment

• Revision control tools such as GIT.· Familiarity with databases such as MySQL is a plus

• Additional skills in HTML/CGI Web programming, creating web page GUI are helpful.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.

• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.

• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).

• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.

• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors – Computer Science, Bachelors – Engineering, Bachelors – Information Systems

Work Experiences:

2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc., 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience

1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above). ,3+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization. ,3+ years experience with API. ,3+ years experience with Database Management Software. ,8+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.
