GENERAL SUMMARY
Roles & Responsibilities:• Technical Program management handling end-to-end customer programs from pursuit phase to production. Role spans working across multiple cross-functional and worldwide teams• Program Management of Automotive/ADAS development kits, driving continuous improvement and optimization of machine learning and sensor processing functions, and agile process for development activities in a rapidly changing market and customer requirements.• Adapt and manage customer milestones while delivering to schedule, quality, and cost requirements.• Understand barriers, challenges, and tradeoffs in all functional areas across chipset, hardware platforms, software, field application engineering, automotive quality, business operations, external partners – in order to maintain a coherent commercialization plan for customer programs.• Coordinates the work of worldwide development teams that contribute to multiple projects in parallel, competing for resources and attention.• Understand and delivers to the automotive functional safety (ISO26262, SOTIF), automotive cybersecurity and automotive reliability requirements• Leads customer problem resolution, identifying required resources, tasks and investigation paths to quickly solve customer issues to maintain schedule for end product launch and production.Preferred Qualifications• Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.• 7+ years Program Management experience or related work experience.• 3+ years of experience in SoC development including direct management of chip design, systems, product and test engineering, software, applications, or product development.• 4+ years Program Management experience or related Automotive Industry work experience.• Delivered or managed large scale commercial programs across worldwide multi-functionary teams, preferable in automotive safety domain• 3+ years working in Automotive ADAS tools planning and/or development• 3+ years working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.• 2+ years experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc.• 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).• 2+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization.• All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company.
Physical Requirements
• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
