We are seeking ambitious, bright, and innovative engineers to be part of this initiative. Job activities span the whole product life cycle from early R&D to commercial deployment. The environment is fast-paced and requires cross-functional interaction with globally placed teams. Responsibilities shall include the following:Closely collaborate with Camera domain/technology experts to define the specifications, lead the software design/implementation for enabling new features, and integrate/validate software in a larger system.Actively engage with Automotive OEMs, Tier-1s and ISVs to implement solutions based on of Qualcomm Automotive platforms.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.5+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.Preferred Qualifications:5+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.Working knowledge of operating systems like QNX, Linux, Android and other RTOSsExperience with Embedded software development, integration, debugging.Experience with G-streamer/V4L2/Open Max I/F L/Android Camera HALExcellent issue triage and Debugging skillsQuick Adaptability to work in new technologies.Fluent in C/C++ programming, embedded system software development on ARM CPU.Understanding of camera imaging sensor, camera module and image processing pipelines.Experience in camera system design for digital camera, automotive camera, security camera or smart phone cameras.Exposure to Linux kernel driverExposure to Qualcomm platforms is a plusStrong Communication skillsExcellent Team working skills.Exposure on Automotive product development is a plusExperience with System performance profiling and optimization is a plusPhysical RequirementsFrequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ 5+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.

+ 2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 5+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.

+ Working knowledge of operating systems like QNX, Linux, Android and other RTOSs

+ Experience with Embedded software development, integration, debugging.

+ Experience with G-streamer/V4L2/Open Max I/F L/Android Camera HAL

+ Excellent issue triage and Debugging skills

+ Quick Adaptability to work in new technologies.

+ Fluent in C/C++ programming, embedded system software development on ARM CPU.

+ Understanding of camera imaging sensor, camera module and image processing pipelines.

+ Experience in camera system design for digital camera, automotive camera, security camera or smart phone cameras.

+ Exposure to Linux kernel driver

+ Exposure to Qualcomm platforms is a plus

+ Strong Communication skills
