General Summary

The Test Operations Director is a role within global supply chain. This role is responsible to work with Qualcomm Product Test Engineering, Sourcing, test capacity planning, and offshore sustaining engineering team to deploy new products and new test platform in OSATs and CM. Working on all the ramp up plan, drive tester OEE performance, ensure testing manufacturing related KPIs are being set up and track. This position will focus on drive OSATs testing team for manufacturing ramp up, new product Hardware deployment, meeting build plan requirement, and address test productivity issue to ensure output plan fully met. Validate production performance and supporting internal capacity planning team obtain valid testing parameter and capacity related matrix. Establish testing operational KPI across OSATs and continuous drive for operational improvement. Having previous experience in production environment for wafer level test, package level test, and system level test is a plus. Understanding test manufacturing, and ATE supplier related sourcing agreement, contractual obligation is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

+ Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.

+ Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.

+ Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.

Bachelors – Business Administration, Bachelors – Engineering, Bachelors – Operations, Bachelors – Supply Chain, See the required degree associated with years of work experience

Work Experiences:

10+ years relevant operations experience., 12+ years relevant operations experience., 14+ years relevant operations experience.

Work Experiences:

6+ years experience in technology manufacturing or related industry. ,3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Sr Director level and above). ,4+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization. ,3+ years working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials. ,4+ years in a leadership role with or without direct reports (only applies to positions with direct reports).
