The Position: Vice President of People and Culture

The Foraker Group seeks a values-driven leader to serve as its Vice President of People and Culture.  Foraker’s Vice President of People and Culture will be responsible for both supporting leadership in nurturing an attractive workplace for Foraker staff and for overseeing Foraker’s work in strengthening the human resources of Alaska’s nonprofits and tribes.  The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced human resources professional with broad knowledge about a comprehensive array of HR topics and a strong commitment to relationship-based work.

Application Process

The starting salary ranges from $112,000-120,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Foraker Group offers a competitive benefits package including:

·         Health insurance premiums for employees covered at 75% by the employer. Eligible employees who opt out of group insurance will receive an extra $2.00 per hour added to their base rate of pay.

·         HSA account with $750 annual contribution by employer

·         Generous paid time off, including 12.5 paid holidays and 18 days of accrued leave per year; annual leave accrual increases over time with years of service

·         Tax-deferred annuity (TDA) retirement plan with a 6% employer match after one year of service
